My husband had bought it at the dispensary he goes too. This product works amazingly quicker than other cannabis sprays I used. The name is not something I'm crazy about, it comes in the form of what looks like lipstick so it is easy to carry. I don't have any problems in my sex life, just wanted to try it and it only enhances your pleasure! I definitely recommend this product. Make sure you follow the directions on any cannabis oil as some need about 15-30 minutes to take effect.\"\n_____________________\nSounds like your man has your pleasure desires and sensual satisfaction top of mind, and that is wonderful to hear! Anecdotal evidence suggests that the strains that relax the body and reduce stress Indica or indica dominant hybrids) may help enhance sex. To improve overall physiological functioning, including that of the sex organs, a tincture of high CBD/low THC or 1:1 ratio may help, but it may take 4-6 week to see any changes. A solid exercise regime along with improved diet will also help, obviously.\n\ndneice\n_____________________\nI can not say specifically if marijuana will help your sex life as everyone reacts differently to cannabis. Add to this it can depend on what strain you are smoking if this is how you consume it or what product you choose to take if you are not smoking. There is a lot online you can read about how marijuana does indeed seem to help people's sex life. I wrote an article that touches on this topic a few months ago called \"Cannabis Improves Your Sex Life\" (link below). \n\nhttps://www.hellomd.com/health-wellness/5637e9676424cf000c000005/cannabis-improves-your-sex-life-the-top-5-reasons-you-should-give-cannabis-a-try\n\nSome people believe cannabis can be good for sex in that for many people it can relieve anxiety. Others evidence seems to point to cannabis allowing the body to experience deeper and longer orgasms. Some men indicate that it is 'nature's Viagra'. Marijuana has been pointed to as an aphrodisiac for thousands of years, so it is not surprising that there seems to be a resurgence around this now that cannabis is somewhat in the limelight.\n\nPsychiatrist, Dr. Lester Grinspoon, told High Times that weed “greatly enhances the sexual experience for many people. There’s no doubt that when people are high, they’re more sensitive to their sexual feelings and urges.” This all seems very positive! But again, it is subjective to what you consume. Smoking a strain that keeps you couch-locked is not sexy for instance. \n\nSome strains that are commonly called out for sexual enhancement are: Voodoo, GrandDaddy Purple and Flo. These are by no means the only strains, but seem to be commonplace in strain lists that create 'the mood'.\n\nThe other option that is great for the ladies in the room are sexual lubricant enhancers. Two that are very popular in California is 'Quiver' by HerbaBuena and 'Foria Pleasure' by Foria. Both of these are topical applications are applied to the vaginal area about 30 minutes before sex and can create a sensation that leads some to say 'Wow'. Topical applications do not create a head high, which some people prefer.\n\nIt is interesting to note in our recent HelloMD patient study 13% of participants indicated they use marijuana as a libido enhancer. What is even more interesting is that more women than men use it in this way.\n\nHope this helps!\n\n\npamelahadfield\n_____________________\nGreat question! Using cannabis as an aphrodisiac is an ancient tradition. Cannabis promotes relaxation and increased blood flow. THC is also known to positively affect cell receptors directly involved in tactile sensation and euphoria, and inhibit pain while allowing for more pleasant signals to be received by the brain.\n\nkarin\n_____________________\nIn general, I think a lot of cannabis products can help with libido. I don't think this is really a question of which strain to use, but more which method of ingestion do you prefer? Additionally, there are some specific products made by Foria that you might want to take a look at.\n\n\nmark","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_11120-markdown","title":"Hello I am wondering if topicals help with libido?","slug":"hello-i-am-wondering-if-topicals-help-with-libido","content":"\n_____________________\nGood question. Cannabis in general seems to help libido. There are many theories as to why such a causing a generalized relaxation causing a decreased anxiety that can help a male perform better as well as a female do the same. When relaxed both the partners can enjoy a more fulfilling sexual encounter. Moat of the products that seem to do this are flower, vape oil, edibles and some topicals. \nOne for example if Foria Pleasure that is a topical spray for women that is sprayed in their vagina nd clitoris that has been reported to increase sexual pleasure. I have not heard of a similar product for men no of a topical that is placed on other parts of the body with the same results.\nthis could be that the topical absorption thru the skin is very weak, if at all, unless you have a patch on top of it to encourage absorption into the skin and then the rest of the body.\n\nPerry Solomon, MD\n_____________________\nWhen searching for a libido enhancer, the effect is usually wanted instantly. (unless your activity is scheduled) The most effective result is with smoking, taking into consideration that it's the fastest reaction. (10-30 seconds) I'd suggest a lower mg of THC (9%-16% indica or hybrid with an indica dominance)\nLower mg of thc will help relax the body and slow down the mind. \nYou don't want too much mind activity when trying to concentrate on your partner :)\nYou want you mind to be blank and open to receive energies between lovers. \n **this topic is towards the masculine\n\n*FOR FEMALE*\nDepending on the issue, there are multiple approaches. Smoking, Edible and suppositories..\nAs I perviously mentioned, lower mg is best. You can smoke at a lower mg of THC/CBD or ingest a lower mg of THC via edible. Suppositories being non-pyschocactive are the most effective, high in THC, therefore helping with muscle spasms+relaxation, lead to a mild sedative, relaxing the body and mind, helps to climax without mind distraction. Also a anti-bacterial+ anti-viral, suppositories are great after intercourse.\n\nkeilanimmj","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10731-markdown","title":"My husband has a complete loss of his libido and erectile dysfunction. Can pot help him get it up?","slug":"my-husband-has-a-complete-loss-of-his-libido-and-erectile-dysfunction-can-pot-help-him-get-it-up","content":"\"We used to smoke back in the day but have not in a long time. I'm wondering if smoking pot again can help my guy get it up again? It's not for lack of trying or for lack of desire, at least I think so!\"\n_____________________\nSmall amounts of cannabis may relieve anxiety and enhance arousal, however, too much will probably make matters worse. \n\ndrfrye\n_____________________\nCannabis may have effects that increase libido and reduce the occurrence of erectile dysfunction, but without knowing how your husband's problem has already been medically evaluated there may be other issues to consider that are not likely to respond to just medicinal cannabis. For example, complications of diabetes can impair circulation and nerve function, or endocrine problems affecting levels of testosterone or other hormones might present as erectile dysfunction and loss of libido. Where erectile dysfunction and reduction of libido are not associated with conditions like these, a holistic approach incorporating cannabis is sometimes helpful. Because anxiety can be an obvious cause of erectile dysfunction it's important to use a preparation with enough CBD to moderate THC effects (1:1 is usually plenty) and to use modest doses, as relaxation and increased sense of well being tend to appear at lower doses and may change to other effects as the dose is increased. Incorporating topical cannabis preparations may be another useful way to integrate cannabis into sexual activity to overcome erectile dysfunction. The idea is that the cannabis is part of a shared experience of relaxation of mood and pleasurable focus on the senses that can more easily and naturally evolve into arousal. \n\ndrelkind\n_____________________\nI'd like to add a couple of thoughts to add to this very interesting discussion. As Dr. Elkind and Dr Frye have mentioned, cannabis probably works in a dose-related function in terms of erectile dysfunction. Dr. Elkind also brought up a very important point in that the cause of the ED should be explored with the primary MD. Does the patient have diabetes? Uncontrolled high blood pressure &/ or cholesterol issues? Is the patient a smoker as well? (some studies I have seen have actually seen an increase of erectile dysfunction in tobacco smokers as well in individuals who smoked cannabis ; the mechanism was unclear & needs to be explored further). If the patient is working through psychological factors that may be contributing to \nthe erectile dysfunction, counseling for both partners should also probably be instituted. In the limited anecdotal studies I have seen with cannabis and erectile dysfunction, a lot of the studies seemed to look at THC to help with sexual functioning but this was probably before more information was available concerning CBD as another useful cannabinoid and before the \"entourage\" effect of CBD combined with THC at the endocannabinoid receptor1 / EC1 was known. At lower doses, these cannabinoids can be very helpful in lowering stress and\n anxiety, a large component of erectile dysfunction in many men. However, at too high a dose, it seemed that erectile dysfunction was actually worsened in these test subjects. I hope this all helps!\n\ndrpark","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10706-markdown","title":"Is there any truth to marijuana negatively affecting sexual function in men?","slug":"is-there-any-truth-to-marijuana-negatively-affecting-sexual-function-in-men","content":"\"My husband recently started using marijuana to help with the pain from an old football injury. Cannabis also decreases sperm count and sperm motility. Interestingly, there is an association between premature ejaculation and cannabis use. \n\nHaving said that, some men find that marijuana actually increases arousal and sex drive. These effects most likely occur with sativa dominant strains and THC. \n\ndredmunds\n_____________________\nI've heard that it's possible, but from my experience my libido skyrocketed.
