Any Cannabis Oil personal testimonials here? ","slug":"i-have-been-diagnosed-stage-4-adeno-carcinoma-nsclc-any-cannabis-oil-personal-testimonials-here","content":"\n_____________________\nSince you are asking for a personal testimonial, I will provide mine but keep in mind that anyone's personal testimonial is just their story and should not be used by anyone else to justify their use of cannabis because everyone potentially responds differently to the use of cannabis. \nSince I have used and educated patients in the use of cannabis for years, when I first started having symptoms that I thought were related to potential cancer, I started taking high doses (~84mg daily) of CBD's in hopes of keeping the cancer from spreading until I could get it diagnosed and treated. It turned out that my cancer is a very deadly kind of cancer and it took the doctors more than two months to finally look where I asked them to look, and they found the cancer, I had adenocarcinoma ovarian cancer. The cancer was huge, 15 cm at the time of surgery, but the cancer had not spread and all my lymph nodes were negative so I have a very high likelihood (~85%) of living beyond five years. CBDs are supposed to slow the growth of cancers and reduce the likelihood of spread but THC is also toxic to cancer, I just can't function well on high THC, so iIf I did a product with higher THC I would do it after work followed by CBD's bedtime.\nI encourage you to do what feels right to you but I would not hesitate to tell you to put more CBD in your treatment schedule and watch the research studies. We have an excellent article on CBD and the use with cancer on our website so please, start exploring. Keep a positive frame of mind and do not let others plant negative thoughts in your head, because as I tell my doctors, \"it is hard to do a negative-ectomy on my brain!\" Your body wants to be well so you must give it the nutrients to keep it well and start to explore how you ended up with cancer to begin with since it is likely a small defect in your genetic chart that may need nutrients and cannabis to help your genetic chart function correctly. Exploring your health and survival is a good challenge but do not worry, stay in present moment, and support your immune system and you likely will extend your life and be much happier.\n\ndrolson","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10084-markdown","title":"How do I determine the appropriate dosage of CBD-rich tincture oil?","slug":"how-do-i-determine-the-appropriate-dosage-of-cbd-rich-tincture-oil","content":"\"My 32 year old son will begin taking a CBD rich tincture oil next week (AC/DC strain with a 20:1 ratio of CBD to THC). He suffers from a debilitating chronic daily headache syndrome, New Daily Persistent Headache, and because of this particular strain's effectiveness with migraine headache sufferers we are trying this tincture with hopes that it will help his headache condition as well. My question is: Since the recommended dosage to start is under 5mg, i.e. less is more (effective) in anecdotal studies, how do we calculate the dosage. It is coming in a one ounze liquid with a dropper. Our medical marijuana supplier is not sure how to determine/measure the proper dosage. What do I need to know so that we can insure the proper dosage? \"\n_____________________\nTinctures and other liquid cannabis extracts can come in a variety of concentrations, so it is important to check the label to see how many milligrams of THC and CBD are in the bottle, and then how many milligrams are in each drop. With a \"less is more\" type of approach, yes many people start with 2.5-5 mg of THC per dose to minimize side effects (the CBD also helps). If the product you have isn't labelled as to the actual content of THC and CBD, it would be tough to know how many drops would have that dose. He would likely need to start with just a drop or two, then wait for an hour or longer for it to take full effect. Then he would work up by a couple drops at a time until he finds the best dose. Also, keep in mind that different batches/bottles may also vary slightly as to content. I hope your son finds a medication that helps.\n\ndrbultman","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10081-markdown","title":"Can I use CBD oil with ambien? Is there any evidence that marijuana oil can be used prophylactically to prevent cancer?\r\n\r\n\"\n_____________________\nAs we search for anti-cancer treatments, the anti-cancer potential of cannabis has been examined in numerous scientific studies, resulting in promising leads. Significant research has demonstrated that cannabinoids may inhibit or stop the growth of cancers — including breast, brain, liver, pheochromocytoma, melanoma, leukemia, and other kinds of cancer — from spreading or growing. Moreover, cannabinoids have proven to promote apoptosis, the programmed death of tumor cells, while stopping angiogenesis, blood vessel production to the tumor. One study, conducted by Madrid’s Complutense University, showed that in one-third of rats treated, the injection of synthetic THC eliminated malignant brain tumors while extending life in another third.\n\nThe research is promising, but thus far it has been limited to pre-clinical studies, which are studies of drugs or treatments in animals prior to being carried out in humans. While the pre-clinical research offers hope, before anyone can confidently claim that cannabis can provide a “cure,” clinical research needs to be done.\n\ndrkim","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10066-markdown","title":"Which is better for inflammation and pain from ulcerative colitis, hemp oil or cannabis oil? ","slug":"which-is-better-for-inflammation-and-pain-from-ulcerative-colitis-hemp-oil-or-cannabis-oil","content":"\n_____________________\nHemp and cannabis are very closely related plants but the terms typically refer to very different kinds of medicine. If you are looking at hemp oil the most important piece of information is to look for CBD content (if any). For instance, hemp oil without cannabinoids might be used as a dietary supplement, but hemp oil made from CBD-producing plants can be used for medicinal purposes. Cannabis oil generally refers to oil extracted from cannabis flower, and will contain various amounts and ratios of cannabinoids like THC and CBD. That oil can then be put into various types of medical marijuana products like vaporization oil, topical creams, edibles, etc. For ulcerative colitis, most people find that using a combination of THC and CBD helps relieve symptoms of pain and inflammation.\n\ndrbultman","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10056-markdown","title":"CBD oil works for Cervical cancer?","slug":"cbd-oil-works-for-cervical-cancer","content":"\"For Cervical cancer what would be the approx idea ratio of CBD:THC?
