Our first focus was to develop, and test, targeted blends of cananbinoids and terepnes which led to the first four formulas - sleep, calm, relief and bliss. We have three more formulas that have also passed our consumer tests - energy, foucs and control (a high CBD formula designed to ease the sometimes overwhelming effects of THC). \n\nWe are also focused on helping patients achieve a precise and repeatable dose. The hmbldt dose pen is our first device designed to deliver a precise 2.25MG dose. I would recommend a CBD:THC ratio of 1:1 for the \"strongest\" sleep effects and a \"high\" CBD product such as CBD:THC in a ratio of 20:1 or 28:1 for the \"strongest\" muscle relaxant effects.\n\ndrb\n_____________________\nWe sell a great tincture that is designed specifically to aid with sleep: Forest Nymph Sweet Dreams Tincture. It is a high CBD tincture with just a dash of THC to help fully relax your body and mind. \n\ngreendoorwest\n_____________________\nIf you're having muscle spasms I'd suggest experimenting with topicals. A hot bath with cannabis infused epsom salt, massage with a cannabis topical oil, and some light stretching before bed should help your muscles relax deeply before sleep so you can stay comfortable through the night. \n\nAnother thing to try is a light THC tincture, a few drops taken under your tongue before bed will help you stay relaxed through the night.\n\namanda\n_____________________\nCBD:THC ratio of 2:1 sublingual candies works for me and many other patients with spasms. That said, I can tell you what I like and what works for me for sleep. In general edibles ate a great option as they last for 4-6 hours. My preference is Kiva Terra Bites blueberries. They are 5mg a piece and depending on your tolerance you can take 5, 10 or 15 mg. Take an hour before bedtime. Another great option is Absolute Extracts sublingual spray called SleepyTime. This is fairly immediate, but I find one spray is enough for me, any more might make me stay awake!\n\nI hope this helps!\n\npamelahadfield","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_6835-markdown","title":"Do you have a product that will aid me in feeling calm and happy, not sleepy or too in my head?","slug":"do-you-have-a-product-that-will-aid-me-in-feeling-calm-and-happy-not-sleepy-or-too-in-my-head","content":"\n_____________________\nI am a big fan of the new Hmbldt pen that is called Calm. We recommend using a CBD oil during the day for pain relief and then a CBD/THC oil at night to continue the pain relief while inducing sleep at the same time. This combination of products will allow for pain relief during the day without drowsiness and pain relief at night with a bit of a sleep aid. He is taking .5 grams of THC every 12 hours. I am worried about his lack of appetite and only wanting to sleep--what do you suggest?\"\n_____________________\nHe is taking THC pills? Marinol? 500 milligrams is quite a large dose of THC if taken by itself. Cannabis and THC work much better when taken as a whole plant preparation. If he is taking marinol or synthetic THC (as a mono-drug therapy), I would stop that and I would start with a CBD rich whole plant cannabis extract in a sublingual tincture format, taken every six hours. Use a few drops under the tongue, and wait half an hour, and increase dose to achieve adequate relief. Experiment with different ratios and strains. Vaporization can provide more immediate relief. If you live in a state where cannabis is illegal (and yet synthetic THC is available), I would find a CBD whole plant extract (which should be available in every state) and take that along with a lower dose of the synthetic THC.\n\nandrewvanmd","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_6659-markdown","title":"The amount of cannabis oil I ingested was not satisfactory in putting me to sleep. Every individual has a different tolerance to cannabis. It is always advised to start low and work your way up to a dosage where you begin to notice the effects. Then you can dial in the right amount for your personal situation. My guess is that you may want to increase your tincture dose in small increments and see if you notice a difference. I want to reiterate, that you should do this in small amounts to avoid taking too much and having an unpleasant experience.\n\nryan\n_____________________\nCBD tends to ameliorate the effect of THC, so taking such a high CBD/THC ratio is probably the reason it isn't working. Try a high TCH/low CBD ratio product. Or, find a product that has CBN in it, which is a degraded form of THC and what really puts you to sleep.\n\ndneice","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_6658-markdown","title":"Does it help you sleep?","slug":"does-it-help-you-sleep","content":"\n_____________________\nIts an indica, and so should help you to sleep. Generally, you might want to consider edibles as a sleep aid, as they come on slower, and last longer. If you do smoke bud, it may send you to sleep, but then you may way soon after, sometimes with dreams waking you due to the THC. You would need to experiment with different options to see what works for you.\n\nSo I would look first for an indica based edible, perhaps a tincture or other edible.\n\nmark","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_6654-markdown","title":"what is the best candy or sweet not tasting like pot medicine for sleep","slug":"what-is-the-best-candy-or-sweet-not-tasting-like-pot-medicine-for-sleep","content":"\n_____________________\nI was never a fan of edibles until I realized that they really helped me sleep a lot! The great thing about an edible is that you can eat it 1-2 hours before bed, have a sweet after dinner, brush your teeth and by the time you feel it you are ready for bed!\n\nI am also a fan of edibles that allow for easy micro dosing. As a super THC lightweight, I am good at 5mg. Most people might ingest 10mg. Edibles tend to last longer than other means of ingestion anywhere from 4-7 hours depending on the person.\n\nTo answer your question, these are three products I love:\n\nFlora Probiotic Mint Chocolate (available at www.Getsava.com)\nKiva Blueberry Terra Bites (available at www.Getsava.com)\nDefonce Mint Chocolate Bar http://www.defoncechocolatier.com/\n\nI am not a doctor and this represents my opinion only. I have been in pain with AIDS, CFS for 30 years and now a possible AVM for the last three weeks-which included vertigo so out of control I could not walk. I live on Excedrin for pain, which is everyday. I normally live in Mexico and my friend got me some marijuana oil and if I took a tiny bit about the size of rice grain it would knock me out. When I was here last I got the low THC chocolate and I was tripping, not good. What can I take to sleep with the least amount of high? Is there a brand that is geared towards a happy high? I was so paranoid last time. I prefer something immediate like the vape because I don't want to have surprises later.\n\nThanks \nRiver Huston\n\"\n_____________________\nIn your case I would highly recommend trying a pen vaporizer cartridges. I find them very effective and I always keep a 1:1 CBD THC strain by my bedside. \n\nIf I were you I would experiment a little with both THC and CBD strains to see what works best with you. Find an Indica strain that is well known for sleep (like Skywalker OG or Platinum Cookies) and see how that works for you. If you are looking for less of a high then a CBD strain may help you as well. \n\nI have found two distinct differences for CBD vs THC for sleep (at least in my own case). If you have trouble falling asleep, then THC strains will sedate you and allow you to rest. If you have trouble winding down your mind, then CBD:THC strains will help you to relax allowing your mind reach a state where it can rest.\n\nryan","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_11500-markdown","title":"How do I use medical marijuana to taper from valium?
