Looking at a recent lab test by Analytical 360, shows a sample of Canna- Tsu with a terpene profile to be significantly high in Linalool - coming in at 3.90 % , compared to the other terpenes like Caryophyllene at .62%. ( lab tests show that not all samples test this high in linalool)\n\nLinalool is also found in lavender and coriander and while the effects are considered multiple,it is one of the substances used to reduce stress. Some of the effects include, but are not limited to: Anti-anxiety, Antidepressant, Sedative,Anti-inflammatory, Anti-Epileptic.\n\ngabriella\n_____________________\nAlso, here's an article we did a little bit ago that details some high-CBD strains that might be helpful to read. First, someone might be able to take high does of THC and never have short term memory loss, perhaps they have a higher tolerance or perhaps they just do not experience this. I might say that if you experience short term memory loss that this has more to do with the dosage and frequency of use. \n\nIf you like to smoke flower (or vape), you might try smoking a flower that is higher in CBD which could reduce memory loss. If you are smoking high THC smoke less. If you are taking edibles consider microdosing over a longer period of time rather than a high dose in one sitting. Edibles today also can be purchased in higher CBD ratios as well. \n\nI hope this helps!\n\npamelahadfield","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8462-markdown","title":"What is the best strain for fatigue and depression? My main strains I would take before bed with some melatonin. They were Lemon OG and Blueberry pie (THC dominant). \r\nLately, I've developed sleep anxiety. Taking anything weed related only seemed to make it worse. I incorporated a tincture to help me sleep, however today especially after sleeping 10hrs, I woke up and all day just little epinephrine rushes sometimes for no reason. I've been to doctors over the last week or so and they say I'm fine. I've been meditating, deep breathing, and putting my faith in myself, but this feels a little more than psychosomatic. Any help?\"\n_____________________\nHello and thank you for the great question, \n\nI believe you are referring to adrenal fatigue, which is not recognized as a legitimate diagnosis by allopathic medicine. However, I do believe that there is some merit to the theory. \n\nThere are no studies on humans which evaluate the long term effects of cannabis on the adrenal glands. However, cannabis has been shown to elevate cortisol levels, which of course, is central to the theory of adrenal fatigue. However, this effect is relatively short lived and I doubt cannabis, when used in moderation or sparingly, would cause long term adverse effects on adrenal glands. However, if used heavily, I would hypothesize that cannabis could have some negative effects on the adrenal glands - most likely not permanent though. \n\nFirst and foremost, you should consult your primary care physician to discuss your symptoms so that he/she could evaluate you properly; I cannot offer you a valid opinion without asking you more questions, performing a pertinent physical exam and possibly running laboratory tests. I will say, however, that it sounds most likely a psychosomatic reaction. \n\nIt also sounds like you may be sensitive to THC, which has been shown to have cardiovascular effects like elevated heart rate and changes in blood pressure; THC is also the main culprit in elevated anxiety and even paranoia in some. \n\nConsidering the above and the choices you inquired about, lemon OG would be the better choice for sleep and would also be much less prone to causing elevated anxiety and heart rate. \n\nHowever, I would recommend you try \"high CBD strains\" which have much lower THC concentrations than both lemon OG and especially blueberry pie. \n\nHere are some of my recommended high CBD strains. \n- The INDICA would be the choice for sleep.\n\n-Some recommended high CBD strains-\nSATIVA - Harlequin is one of the most popular CBD strains available. Typically testing around the 5:2 CBD/THC ratio, it exhibits a sativa-dominant alertness with only mild euphoria. Harlequin has a happy bent that most will find enhances whatever activity they are engaged in.\n\nHYBRD - ACDC is easily my favorite CBD strain. The cannabinoid content is usually heavily CBD-dominant, sitting on average at 20:1 in its CBD/THC ratio. An imperceptible amount of THC makes ACDC an outstanding companion for daily medicinal cannabis consumers seeking to relieve tension, pain, or anxiety.\n\nINDICA - Stephen Hawking Kush offers mild, relaxing effects while doling out a healthy dose of CBD, too. This indica-dominant strain is one of the more unique CBD cuts out there, offering both heady and soothing effects.\n\ndrkim","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8434-markdown","title":"What is the best strain for treating severe back pain and sciatic nerve pain due to bulging discs? While not entirely conclusive, the research on marijuana shows promise for people with PD.\nFor PD, marijuana is thought to provide numerous benefits, including:\n\npain relief\nreduced tremors\nbetter quality of sleep\nimproved overall mood\nmore ease in movement\n\nDespite the potential benefits of marijuana for people with Parkinson’s, there are also some risk factors involved. THC in marijuana can cause:\n\nimpaired thinking and movements\nhallucinations\nmemory problems\nmood changes\n\nSo when considering the above, it becomes clear that most of the positive effects cannabis has on PD derives from CBD (cannabidiol), whereas most of the possible adverse effects are derived from THC. As such, I would recommend that you seek \"high cbd strains.\"\n\nACDC is a hybrid strain that I have touted for several conditions which would benefit from a high CBD and low THC content. The cannabinoid content is extremely CBD-dominant, sitting on average at 20:1 in its CBD/THC ratio. An imperceptible amount of THC makes ACDC an outstanding companion for daily medicinal cannabis. ACDC would be my top overall recommendation as treatment for the symptoms of Parkinson's disease.\n\nA sativa strain I also recommend is Harlequin. Harlequin is one of the most popular CBD strains available.
