He suffers from a debilitating chronic daily headache syndrome, New Daily Persistent Headache, and because of this particular strain's effectiveness with migraine headache sufferers we are trying this tincture with hopes that it will help his headache condition as well. My question is: Since the recommended dosage to start is under 5mg, i.e. less is more (effective) in anecdotal studies, how do we calculate the dosage. It is coming in a one ounze liquid with a dropper. Our medical marijuana supplier is not sure how to determine/measure the proper dosage. What do I need to know so that we can insure the proper dosage? \"\n_____________________\nTinctures and other liquid cannabis extracts can come in a variety of concentrations, so it is important to check the label to see how many milligrams of THC and CBD are in the bottle, and then how many milligrams are in each drop. With a \"less is more\" type of approach, yes many people start with 2.5-5 mg of THC per dose to minimize side effects (the CBD also helps). If the product you have isn't labelled as to the actual content of THC and CBD, it would be tough to know how many drops would have that dose. He would likely need to start with just a drop or two, then wait for an hour or longer for it to take full effect. Then he would work up by a couple drops at a time until he finds the best dose. Also, keep in mind that different batches/bottles may also vary slightly as to content. I hope your son finds a medication that helps.\n\ndrbultman","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10061-markdown","title":"I am trying to learn about high CBD low THC strains to help my wife with lower abdominal digestive tract pain.","slug":"i-am-trying-to-learn-about-high-cbd-low-thc-strains-to-help-my-wife-with-lower-abdominal-digestive-tract-pain","content":"\"We have tried AC/DC but I am thinking that has too little thc I have heard about a strain called the Medic which my be what I am looking for but I can't find much info about it.
