RLS is a neurological condition and acts somewhat counterintuitively, so as you try to chill, your symptoms act up. \n\nSince you are looking for it in vape form, you can find it here: https://sessionscc.com/shop/kure-botanicals-kurvana-originals-cartridge/ \n\nI haven't found any definitive cause of RLS in my review of literature, but those who have studied these things attribute RLS to a malfunction of a gland in your brain that produces dopamine, or the chemical in your brain that causes happiness.\n\nSo, hypothetically, what you want to look for is something that increases dopamine. Interestingly, your body uses endocannabinoids to regulate dopamine, so it stands to reason that cannabinoids found in cannabis (like THC), which block GABA (the thing that reduces or regulates dopamine in your brain) would then allow more dopamine into your brain. \n\nSo again, not a doctor and would love to hear anyone else's opinion on this...\n\nNick DeJesus","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_7140-markdown","title":"How do these vape pens work?","slug":"how-do-these-vape-pens-work","content":"\"Are they refillable or one-time use? Are they made with medical grade materials? I doubt it. The real problem can be in the cartridges. Not all companies use safe, non toxic extraction methods. If the cartridge says 500 mg what that means is there is 500 mg of oil and when reading ingredients if it is 300 mg of THC what is the other 200 mg? Don't assume all cartridges are safe or that all companies are ethical. What to look for in a vape pen?","slug":"im-new-to-vaping-what-should-i-know-what-to-look-for-in-a-vape-pen","content":"\"I'm hoping this will help me manage my anxiety and depression. \"\n_____________________\nHey! Welcome aboard. I recently began vaping within the last two years and there is definitely a lot to learn! What I look for in a pen is something simple, clean, and easy to use. Some features can include temperature control, button activation, breathe activation, and even some that track your usage!\n\nTo start, simplicity is key. I personally enjoy our batteries (biased) for a few reasons. The breathe activation is extremely simple with no buttons to press. Second, we'll replace it for life if you have any issues at all! \n\nNow for the most important part - what strains to use for anxiety/depression?\n\nHere are a few very helpful resources:\n\nhttps://www.leafly.com/news/strains-products/best-cannabis-strains-for-depression\nhttps://www.leafly.com/news/strains-products/what-are-the-best-cannabis-strains-for-anxiety\n\nPlease feel free to continue this conversation with me personally at evan@bloom.farm.\n\nevan\n_____________________\nIf you're vaping extracts (rather than flowers), the bloom farms highlighter is cool because it uses CO2 oil. Other pens use butane extracts or glycerin oils, which have been shown not to be very good for the body. All vape pens use some kind of chemical binders to make the extract vaporize easily. The binders in the highlighter vape pen are very safe and are designed to vaporize at a low temperature so they don't transform into more harmful compounds. Plus, the cartridge itself is made of resilient materials, ones that won't degrade during heating. For anxiety and depression, I've found that a mixture of CBD and other more psychoactive cannabinoids is helpful. However, be aware that using cannabis for depression and anxiety requires a balance. Remember to also fill your life with exercise, interesting experiences, and healthy practices. Don't rely on cannabis too much; let it infuse your life and activities with energy. Use it to find beauty in the world, but remember that the beauty is always there, regardless of the cannabinoids. If you end up using it all the time to feel good, it can make things worse, and you'll need to clean up. Otherwise, cannabis is a great medicine for your mind. Use it wisely, and limit your dosage. I'm sure you already knew all that, but I think it's worth repeating.\n\nmuchfuzz","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_7099-markdown","title":"Can you get AC/DC in an oil for a vape pen?","slug":"can-you-get-ac-dc-in-an-oil-for-a-vape-pen","content":"\n_____________________\nAbsolutely! You can find various brands that have this, though the one that comes to mind is Absolute Extracts. They sell an AC/DC cartridge that is made with very high quality materials. AE also uses a thicker blend of oil, meaning they use less thinning agents for the cartridge than more viscous oil blends. AKA a purer product.\n\nryan\n_____________________\nYou sure can! Almost every dispensary these days carries a variety of vape pens and oil cartridges. I am going to put some links below which I hope will help you:\n\nhttps://www.hellomd.com/health-wellness/vaporizing-or-vaping-what-you-need-to-know\n\nhttps://www.hellomd.com/health-wellness/beginner-s-guide-finding-the-right-marijuana-vaporizer\n\nIt really depends on the effect you want. I almost always only smoke high CBD oil cartridges which are great for pain, relaxation and are only mildly psychoactive (for me). Vape oils can have moderate amounts of THC or very, very high amounts. You will need to determine if THC works for you. \n\nI would suggest that you go low and slow and start with one puff and wait to see how you feel. After 5-10 minutes take another puff and so on.\n\nMy favorite CBD oil cartridge is by Bloom Farms and is Electra Tsu a 3:1 ratio of CBD to THC. You also want to look for a company that lab tests and extracts their oil from pesticide free, organic crops.\n\nThis post represents my opinion only. I hope this helps!\n\npamelahadfield","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_7095-markdown","title":"What kind of cannabis oil do you suggest for severe back pain? What type of oil do you suggest and where do I buy it?\"\n_____________________\nI'm sorry to hear about your pain. I would highly recommend our True OG or Grand Daddy Purple oil, available in cartridge or in All-in-One, to alleviate your pain, reduce inflammation and help you get a restful sleep, which we all know is one of the best medicines of all! Each of these strains is an Indica, and each has a cannabinoid and terpene profile that should provide relief for your condition.\n\nkenwvapes\n_____________________\nSince you've never smoked before vaping is a good solution. For your back pain, you'll want a high-THC strain: I might try Girl Scout Cookies from Kurvana. When you vape, try a 5-second pull on your pen, then give it 20 mins to gauge the effect.\r\n\r\nYou can also try capsules (or certain brands of edibles) in order to manage your dosing. If you are going to try an edible or capsule, start with 5mg and wait 45 mins to an hour to feel the effect. \r\n\r\nBe Well!\n\nNick DeJesus\n_____________________\nI would definitely recommend vaping! Kurvana is my favorite brand and I second Niko there. G.S. Cookies is a hybrid and a good daytime/afternoon option for back pain. You may find more success with Kurvana's Banana Smoothie vaporizer, which is a 2:1 THC:CBD oil blend. I found the high very pleasant and the THC in combination with the CBD gave me more relief than just the THC alone.\r\n\r\nAlso, never discount topicals! They work wonders for my back pain! I think the direct application of cannabinoids to the muscles works much better than inhaling them. Combining both methods seems to be the most effective.\n\nryan","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_7040-markdown","title":"I've heard that vape pens made in China can give you metal poisoning. But, now, as I use more cannabis to help sleep and vape and smoke -- my dreams are back and quite vivid. Any reason?\"\n_____________________\nMost people who smoke marijuana have less dreaming as you have indicated. Most dreaming occurs during the REM phase of sleep and for whatever reason when people use marijuana this time during REM is decreased, which leads to little or no recall of dreams.\n\nBut as with most things marijuana, everyone's experience may not be the same. Some people do report having more vivid dreams, and i am not sure of the cause of this. What I can say however, is that many times switching up a strain or a product can alter one's experience, whether that be with sleep or pain, etc.\n\nSo, perhaps you may want to consider trying numerous strains and or tinctures or edibles to see if your experience varies. I know many people who consider edibles to be far more effective for a deep slumber.\n\nLastly, I assume you are smoking an indica before bed and not a sativa, which would energize you and possibly enhance REM sleep time.\n\nI am not a doctor and this post represents my opinion and research only.
