In addition, as you mentioned there are also high CBD creams that you can apply to the area that will work for around 6 hours.  However, the best option would be to use a tincture with a CBD:THC ratio of >20:1.  This concentration passes the blood brain barrier of the brain and used once to twice daily on a regular basis will help with your long term nerve pain and bodies perception of pain.
