One drop is one drop falling from the end of the dropper. You can pick it up and practice with a glass of water before you use your own tincture. Just squeeze the dropper to pull in a fair amount of water and lightly squeeze it until a single drop falls out. The surface tension around the dropper's opening ensures that a drop is fairly consistent for each dose.
